Our boutique rainforest hotel has emerged as a premier Birding Lodge in Costa Rica, with undiscovered birdwatching hot-spots in both the rainforest and mangrove ecosystems of Golfito and the Golfo Dulce.

Enjoy world-class birdwatching right on-site, nestled on a private rainforest reserve with lush gardens, private terraces, look-out points, and forest trails for birdwatching. 

A certified naturalist will accompany you, ensuring that you see birds and wildlife that you otherwise may miss. They are local experts in identifying bird behavior of Costa Rica’s top birds by the Lodge in Cerro Adams and in the lowlands of the Golfo Dulce in surrounding mangroves, Río Coto, and the Esquinas and Sierra rivers.

All six canopy suites include binoculars, and there is a permanent telescope by our infinity pool that offers breathtaking views of Golfo Dulce and the jungle-covered mountains.

With this package, daily activities include a morning AND afternoon bird walk, as well as a mangrove tour, which offers excellent opportunities for spotting Kingfishers, Osprey and Roseate Spoonbills
