Nestled within a mountainous jungle, encircled by rivers, waterfalls, and the sea, we invite you to immerse yourself in tranquil rainforest luxury.

Off-grid and off the beaten track, our modern, minimalist eco-lodge is situated on a 380 acre private reserve of primary and secondary rainforest, overlooking the beautiful and serene waters of the Golfo Dulce, on the green mountain behind Golfito, Costa Rica.
We share the same greenbelt as the Osa Peninsula.
One Bedroom Canopy Suites
Our 660 square foot 1 bedroom canopy suites sleep up to 4 people and boast:
1 King-size bed - the same type used by The Four Seasons Hotel
1 Full-size sofa bed
En-suite bathroom with 2 rain showers: one indoor, and one outdoor
Utter privacy and unadulterated views of the rainforest canopy
Abundant LED lights, so you can read comfortably at night
Abundant hot water
Large covered deck and hammocks, for outdoor living
Teak, inside and out
Fans for air flow
Our Rates include all meals plus many activities
Our rates for a Canopy Suite are per person, per day. There is a three night minimum stay for all Canopy Suites, with a 15% discount given for each additional night. The third and fourth person in a Canopy Suite receive a 50% discount from the base rate.
ALL rates include: 3 locally-sourced, seasonal, superlative meals a day, snacks, transportation to and from Golfito Airport, and all of the included activities that are listed on the Activity page.
Our front desk is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and daily housekeeping is included in all rates.
Rates listed do NOT include the 13% Costa Rican Hotel Tax. This tax will be added at the time of booking.
We are closed from October 1 - November 14.
We have a 30 day cancellation policy for Green and High Seasons, and a 60 day cancellation policy for the Holiday season.
Here is the specific language:
Cancellation requests must be received in writing to reservations@cielolodge.com 31 days ( 61 days for Holiday season) prior to arrival to avoid any penalties. Cancellations made 31 days (61 days for Holiday season) or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the 25% deposit less the $200 non-refundable portion of the deposit. Cancellations made between 30 and 0 days (or 60 and 0 days for Holiday Season) prior to arrival are not refundable.
No-Show, unused room nights, and/or early check-outs are not refundable. Late bookings made within 30 days of arrival (60 days for Holiday Season) are not refundable once the credit card has been charged. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance. Companies such as Travelex, Allianz, and American Express are all reputable companies.
We also can give you full credit if you decide to come at a later date.
